This August, CSH will launch the first-ever Supportive Housing Week — a nationwide effort to show Congressional lawmakers one simple, powerful truth: supportive housing works.
During the congressional recess, Members of Congress return to their home districts. Supportive Housing Week creates a timely opportunity to engage them locally and show — through real communities and real stories — how supportive housing delivers results: strengthening systems, improving well‑being, and advancing priorities that shift resources to cost-effective solutions.
This will be a coordinated national effort, designed to:
Create visibility for supportive housing at the local level
Equip communities with tools to engage their elected officials
Build stronger relationships and shared understanding with policymakers
