Free Training in Ypsilanti for community members. Staff from the Fair Housing Center of Southeast & Mid Michigan will present a free training on Housing Choice Vouchers and other Sources of Income.

Landlords with five or more rental properties cannot refuse to rent to tenants who use income sources such as housing vouchers (including Housing Choice Vouchers/Section , Social Security, disability benefits, veterans' benefits, child support, or alimony.

Learn how to get help and enforce your rights. We'll also provide an overview of federal and state fair housing laws. Pizza will be provided for registrants. Event location details will be shared after registration. This free event is made possible by a generous grant from MSHDA.
