HUD’s Office of Policy Development & Research (PD&R) is hosting a hybrid PD&R Quarterly Update focused on homelessness and the path ahead for policymaking. Leading experts will have a crucial conversation examining HUD’s role in addressing homelessness with an emphasis on addressing the root causes of homelessness, including mental illness and substance abuse. Experts will also discuss best practices that prioritize self-sufficiency, access to treatment programs, and community safety.
