Free Walk-in Expungement Intake (In-person)

If you have a past conviction, stop by to find out if you are eligible for assistance from legal aid. Walk-ins only, first come first served.

Legal Services of South Central Michigan (LSSCM) provides free legal advice and representation to low-income individuals, families, and older adults in 13 counties, including Washtenaw. They may be able to help you with your expungement case. Besides the walk-in intake clinics every third Thursday of the month, another way for you to get help with your expungement case from Legal Services is to apply for help online.

If you are unable to apply online, you can apply over the phone. Legal Services works with the Counsel & Advocacy Law Line (CALL) to do intakes over the phone. Their number is (888) 783-8190.
