Fair Housing Deep Dive for Senior Housing Providers (Virtual)

The Fair Housing Center of West Michigan is pleased to offer FREE Fair Housing Deep Dive for Senior Housing Providers, thanks to generous grant support from the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA).

This targeted training is specific to housing for 55+ and 62+ older adults, including overview/updates on federal, state, and local fair housing laws as well as applicable guidance from HUD; it will also cover best practices, risk management strategies, and practical methods of compliance regarding reasonable accommodations and modifications, policies and practices, application processes, and advertising/marketing of senior properties.

Attendees will also learn more about the broad implications of housing discrimination as well as what services the FHCWM offers.
