Federal Budget Forum: Recap & Report

Jessilyn Averill

Last Friday, our team hosted a community forum to discuss the impact of the proposed 2018 federal budgets cuts on nonprofit organizations in Washtenaw County. During the event, we presented findings from our survey, heard from a panel of community leaders, and explored advocacy opportunities at the federal, state, and local level. We concluded that the 2018 budget cuts would negatively impact not only individuals and families in need of human services, but also the health and well-being of all Washtenaw County residents.

View our survey results and other resources from the forum below. Click here to connect with your representatives and start advocating.
